the number of... the beast...
Read something this morning, that felt, not bad, not good, but outright strange. I supopse all the Aurors and the spells from Harry Potter are getting to me...
Just a weird, yep, weird, post... Reminded me of the days when we(me and sis) were but kids and mom and the other elders at home would refer to the AC as "1/3". Back then, it seemed so exciting to break their code, but then, its just so strange to be referred to as a number... Aleister Crowley came screaming in my ears, "The number of the beast is the number of a man... Aiwas..."
Grow up kids. Its time to leave behind that pram and the cradle. The world is not going to like to see you drooling when you are anything more than 1.5 feet tall! You are not cute, but just stupid to think that the world revolves around your singular entitiy. Actually, it does, but then there is more to it, than what meets your eye...
Another phrase that used to wring my face into a something like a damp towel was "Policy Decision", only now, it so does not get to me that all I catch myself doing is to raise an eyebrow... Soon that too will be gone, only time.
Alabina's singing in a language I know not, and hence understand not... But she sounds so soulful and full of vitality... :) Must be Arabic.
And oh, coming to the more interesting part in the last two days, I finished reading the fifth book of Harry Potter(Order of the Phoenix). People at home thought I might get too emotional when Sirius dies. But I thought that was a rather fitting/noble death. Anyway, loved Fred and George though. Now I hate Rowling for taking so long to write the next book....! Anu, if in case you EVER get to read this blog, thanks :) Never quite got myself to read the book when you were telling me back then how wonderful it was. But now I see your point :)
I think I will mail Anu about it...
Alrighty then, its another monday morning, with the same few hundred known faces. Nothing exciting, unless I want it to be. Nothing too beautiful, unless I want it to be. An old line of mine comes to mind, "Life is as beautiful as you let it be"
